The Ohio State Trapshooting Foundation is a nonprofit, corporation affiliated with the Ohio State Trapshooting Association. All fundraising and investment activities of the Foundation are limited to benefiting trapshooting in Ohio. The assets and earnings of the Foundation are distributed to projects and programs per donor directions or, if funds are unrestricted, per the direction of the Foundation's volunteer Board of Trustees.

The Ohio State Trapshooting Foundation was incorporated under the laws of the State of Ohio as a non-profit corporation. As an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, the Foundation provides donors the opportunity and appropriate tax advantage for supporting trapshooting related projects and programs benefiting Ohio citizens.

The mission of the Ohio State Trapshooting Foundation is to promote achievement in the sport of amateur trapshooting in Ohio by establishing and operating a Hall of Fame; encouraging youth participation in the sport.
