Welcome to the Ohio State Trapshooting Association (OSTA)
The OSTA dedicates itself to promote trapshooting as an enjoyable sport that has a
signature of good sportsmanship, conduct and safety. Since 1887, we have served
the needs of Ohio trapshooters by promoting trapshooting as a wholesome sport
enjoyed by people from all walks of life. Families, youths to seniors, men and
women, participate in trapshooting. It’s an environment that promotes good
sportsmanship and conduct. The Board of Directors and Officers are committed
to serve the shooters of Ohio and their gun clubs.

2012 ZONE SHOOT RESULTS: (2013 ZONE SHOOT, MAY 18-19)
The Southwest Zone won the singles with a score of 2851.
The Northeast Zone came in second with a score of 2848.
In the doubles race, the Northeast Zone won with a score of 1257
and the Southeast Zone came in second with 1205.

Foundation thanks everyone for their support...those who sold tickets, and those who
purchased tickets. This project helped to raise funds for the 2013 scholarships offered by the
Foundation. (Eight young, deserving individuals will each receive a $1,000.00 scholarship!)
Remington donated a great second prize - an 1100 shotgun, won by DON
HOFFMAN of Michigan. Harlan Campbell supplied the 3rd prize- one of his shooting
clinics won by RANDY TAYLOR of Ohio!

OHIO TRAPSHOOTING HALL OF FAME &
MUSEUM... BUY-A-BRICK FUNDRAISER
At the Cardinal Shootin g Center, there is a brick walkway under the O.S.T.A.
awning, by the s core sheet annex area. This area is on the east end of the 1st
Vendor’s building. The O.S.T.A. is selling engraved bricks for the walkway.
You or your Gun Club, can beco me a per manent part of this wonderful facility and
trapshooting history. You can buy a brick to commemorate a special memory like the
day you broke your first 100 straight, or in memory of a special l oved one. The
possibilities are endless. Please consider buying a brick and becoming a part of
the history of Cardinal Shooting Center. These bricks will last forever so
generations of shooters will be able to view your message.
